College Instructions

General Instructions

  • Every student must maintain strict discipline both within the College campus and outside the College.
  • Any act performed by a student that amounts to indiscipline will be dealt with strictly.
  • All students must read the notices thoroughly, which are displayed exclusively on the College Notice Board every day, and take necessary action.
  • Teasing girl students is an offense punishable under the law. Hence, students are advised not to indulge in such activities; otherwise, they will face strict legal action.
  • Scribbling or writing anything on the blackboard, furniture, walls, etc., is considered indiscipline.
  • Removing or causing damage to furniture or windowpanes, plucking flowers, removing notices, etc., is also a breach of discipline.
  • These acts also amount to indiscipline: holding any meeting, function, party, or photography on the College premises without prior permission from the principal.
  • Students should not tamper with the electrical fittings, water fittings, etc., in the classrooms, hostel, and on the College campus.
  • Using foul language with any student, teacher, or other employee of the College will be viewed seriously.
  • Using a cell/mobile phone is strictly prohibited inside the classrooms, and any breach of conduct will result in the confiscation of the cell/mobile phone.

Leave Rules

  • All students must get their leave sanctioned before proceeding on any leave.
  • For leave on medical grounds, a student must submit a medical certificate if the leave is for more than a week.
  • Leave up to one week will be sanctioned by the concerned tutor. For leave extending beyond one week, the student must apply to the principal.
  • A student may not avail of more than 12 days of leave during the entire academic session, except under exceptional circumstances.
  • If a student remains absent for a week continuously without informing the College, their name will be struck off the rolls.
  • Even if a student is on leave, they must deposit their fee as per the scheduled dates decided by the College.
  • Students can seek readmission twice during the session. The first readmission will be allowed within three days after the name is struck off, upon paying a fine of 100. A fine of 200 will be charged for the second readmission within 10 days after the name is struck off the rolls.

Identity Card

  • The identity card is the most important document for a college student because it is the only identification that establishes one as a student of the college.
  • Any transaction between students and the college is entertained only upon presentation of the identity card. If a student needs to handle examination, library, or documentrelated work, they
must produce their identity card to establish their identity.
  • During a surprise inspection or for any other reason, if the student cannot produce the identity card, they will be dealt with as the situation demands. Students without an identity card are deemed outsiders.
  • If the identity card is lost, the student must file an F.I.R. to obtain a duplicate. If the identity card is misplaced or misused by antisocial elements, the student concerned shall be held responsible for their actions. It is the student’s personal responsibility to keep their identity card safe.
  • All students must collect their identity cards and complete the related formalities within one week of admission.
