Infrastructure & Resources

The details of the various student services, infrastructure and resources have been offered by the institution. It covers pre- and post-admission counselling, student participation in extracurricular activities, awareness programs, and academic support initiatives, among other aspects.
1. Pre- and Post-Admission Counselling
- Admission Schedule: The admission process was publicized through multiple channels, including the Prospectus-cum-Handbook, newspaper advertisements, and notices.

2. Scholarships
- Awareness Session: A special lecture was conducted by Nodal Officer Surender Kumar (AP English) to inform students about various scholarship schemes, which received
positive feedback. - Scholarship Award: B.Com.-II student, Shayani, received a scholarship from Reliance Foundation for the financial year 2023-24.
3. Sports & Cultural Activities
- Participation: More than 20% of students participated in both sports and cultural activities.
- Awards: No medals or trophies were won at national, state, or district levels.
4. Students Participation in NSS/NCC/Rangers & Rovers/Clubs
- NSS: Active participation in NSS programs.
- NCC: Strong involvement with NCC.
- Road Safety & Red Ribbon Clubs: Student participation in these clubs has been noteworthy.
5. NSS/NCC Participation
- NCC Army Attachment: Two students participated in the Army Attachment Program at 12 Garhwal Rifles.
- NCC Annual Training Camp: One student secured second position in the drill competition.
6. Anti-Drug Awareness Programs
- Awareness Program: A single anti-drug awareness program was organized, benefiting over 200 students. However, no counseling for suspected addicts was conducted.
7. Gender Equity Initiatives
- Programs and Committees: A health and sensitization program on gender equity was organized, benefiting over 60% of students. The Women Anti-Sexual Harassment
Committee and Grievance Redressal Mechanism were established as per norms.
8. Mentor-Mentee Groups
- Mentorship Sessions: One session per group of students was conducted as part of the Mentor-Mentee program.
9. Coaching for National Level Competitive Examinations
- National Level Examination Coaching: No sessions for HAS or national-level competitive exams were organized.
10. Remedial Classes/Bridge Courses
- Remedial Support: Over 20% of students benefited from remedial classes and bridge courses.
11. Capacity Building of Students
- Yoga Camp: A one-day yoga camp was organized, with Dr. Priyabhishek Sharma training students and faculty. However, no language development programs were held.
12. Career Counselling & Placement Cell
- Counselling Session: One career counselling session was conducted, but no placement drives or self-employment modules were organized.
13. Student Progression
- Higher Education: Up to 20% of students opted for higher education, and two students cleared the UGC NET examination.
14. Co-Curricular & Sports Activities
- Events: Intra-college events like the annual athletic meet and cultural functions were organized. However, there were no inter-university or inter-college events.
15. Annual Prize Distribution
- Function: The college successfully organized its annual prize distribution function.
16. College Magazine Publication
- Publication: The college magazine was published, showcasing student achievements and institutional highlights.
17. College Website Maintenance
- Regular Updates: The college website is regularly updated with relevant information, ensuring transparent communication.
